The Air We Breathe

Air pollution is a serious issue with significant health implications, particularly in low-income and minority communities. Exposure to air pollution has been linked to a range of lung diseases such as asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema, as well as an increased risk of multiple types of cancer, heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, and dementia.

Burning fossil fuels is a major contributor to air pollution, and the resulting increase in temperature is contributing to global climate change. To combat air pollution, it is crucial to identify the sources of harmful pollutants and develop strategies to reduce emissions. Improving air quality is essential to creating a healthier environment for all individuals and wildlife.

By transitioning away from fossil fuels and towards renewable energies such as sunlight, wind, water, and geothermal, we can reduce the harmful impact of fossil fuels on our planet. We must take action to identify and implement strategies to phase out the use of fossil fuels and embrace renewable energy sources, for the sake of our planet and future generations.
